If I had a guess I'd say .308 something or another, I have that clip but it doesn't fit mine.

It was made by Fabrique National, or FN 7.62 mm assault rifle. It came in single shot and automatic selective fire. It weighed 10.5 pounds with a loaded 20 round magazine. ;)

7.62x51 = .308, mine is a 20 rounder too. Insanely accurate :D

;) I trained on and used it. The rear sight was graded to 1000 meters. Yes 1000 meters not a typo :lol:

Very little kick on mine. One may or may not have the grenade launcher attachment :)

We trained with grenade launch attachment but only the one time. The infantry carried it with them. I was artillery and we used flechette ammunition for danger close missions along with normal HE with a CVT (Controlled Variable Time) fuse. The rounds would be fired down range and explode 4 Ft off the ground and shrapnel would go in every direction and literally tear anything with in range to pieces. Our personal weapons were used for close quarters and sniping. We also had HEAT (high explosive anti tank) for anti armor defense.
