The PDF version includes images, but no video preview. It should be safe to open. There is a good number of smiley icons that only show up as question marks. The HTML version only includes plaintext. But you can save the resources by saving the page for offline use. Please note that the resources associated with HTML version might expose your IP to unintended third party.
Update: SVF's user list, mchat archive, and forum data are now included inside the svfz2.zip file.
