This would never have happened during Apartheid!
The people then were racist and egotistical, and would rather just watch you die than raise a finger to help.
Thank god and Tutu that we now have a wonderful, loving party governing the country that encourages the population to help each other in times of need. As you can see in the video, the truck driver was having trouble with his load being far, far too heavy, thus making the truck a danger to other motorists.
Luckily, after calling for help, he was aided by the caring citizens of the New, Better South Africa and he should soon be able to continue on his way to wherever he needed to deliver his goods.
