You think this is the first time this has happened? Corrupt assholes have been enriching them themselves on covid money since the 70's.
Baragwanath got 500 billion rands in 1973 to build a whole covid minihospital: after 10 years the construction came to a standstill due to lack of funds.
Durban Children's Hospital got 280 billion in 1987 to refurbish their existing covid19 wards. Half the money went to unpaid laborers and the other half to friends of politicians.
