So would I. But after living on the west coast for 3 years i gained respect for sealife. I still went fishing for Dungeness crabs but only ever kept a couple for my own personal consumption. Usually the biggest male ones as female crabs were off limits. If you were caught keeping one you lost your crab license and your trap. Female crabs had to be returned to the ocean.
