We used to do this down gigantic sand dunes in SA. We'd slide down on a piece of cardboard. One time we did it at one of the biggest dunes in the Cape and my friend's car keys fell out if his pocket. By an absolute miracle, we found them within about 5minutes.

We were born here and we are used to it. We dress for the weather. At night during that cold snap it was anywhere from -35 c down to -42c. Those nights you just don't go out unless necessary.
