Apparently, they did not settle on poal. That subverse is a ghost town. If the username of the subverse is run by the same one on original Voat, that user likes to post fake news with edited screenshots.

The gist is that the admin of the site was nicknamed AOU's little sister. That site may carry the skin of original Voat. But it is not a free speech site. Site rules do not really apply to the admin or a certain group of users. He would rage ban accounts by group association or offsite behavior. And users are free to impersonate OG's usernames, which is against site rules. Heck, even the site's admin stole OG's username.
