Weihnachten is German. Maybe someone from German South West Africa wrote the note?

I left Namibia in September of 1989 and never got to see a Boer Christmas. One of my regrets in life.

You were in Namibia when it was still a part of SA?Thisismyaccount wrote: ↑Sat Dec 25, 2021 2:32 pmI left Namibia in September of 1989 and never got to see a Boer Christmas. One of my regrets in life.
I'm jealous.
Don't go back there, because you might not like what they've done with the place.

Yes I was. Namibia was still administered by SA at the time. As I said to CD5 a place I will never forget. A very beautiful country that I saw in all my travels. One of my best memories of Namibia was staying at Etosha Pan national park and Victoria Falls. Places I will never forget.

@justALover he was "lucky" enough to experience the tail end of South West Africa before it became Namibia.Thisismyaccount wrote: ↑Sat Dec 25, 2021 3:43 pm Yes I was. @Thisismyaccount Vic Falls is in Rhodesia/Zim not Namibia. Fun fact: rumour has it that Rhodes was a faggot, possibly a pedo/tranny. Apparently he spoke in a high pitched voice, just like a tranny castrato (like Michael Jackson)

I was in a bit of a hurry this morning and forgot to put Zimbabwe after Victoria Falls, my bad. Thanks for clarifying that CD5.
