As a side note, AOU also failed to mention that he blocked some of the tor nodes that were supposedly used to spam poal.https://web.archive.org/web/20210629030 ... dev/388198

3rd Party Some ISPs and even TOR nodes are now blocking Poal
Already contacted AOU and suggested using Unstoppable Domains and getting an .onion service.
Also, I suggest users use Brave Browser since it not only has TOR built in with private windows but also has partnered wth Unstoppable Domains to fully support blockchain based DNS.
edit: It seems to be back up. I posted on some other similar sites and it started working again in a few hours. But AOU should take precautions now.
That time poal got censored was a false flag.

Poal's new submission, already indexed by google and already on the top of search result.

Does this mean that he's fiddling around with stuff to make it look like they're under attack in order to get attention? I think i might need techtard explanation.

Re: That time poal got censored was a false flag.
The submitter claimed poal got censored by ISPs and tor nodes. He posted to multiple sites to get the "news" out, when no such thing happened. Not only that poal was not censored, it looked like google timely indexed some of poal's content. The submission where it claimed of censorship was on the very top of google's result, without specifying site-specific search(site:poal.co). The claim of censorship was bullshit.shewhomustbeobeyed wrote: ↑Tue Jun 29, 2021 7:24 pm Does this mean that he's fiddling around with stuff to make it look like they're under attack in order to get attention? It is quite possible that google favored poal's content. Take these two submissions, for example
you can find them using site:poal.co. Those submissions were less than 24 hours old and were already indexed by google, possibly promoted by submission's domain name.https://poal.co/s/News/388264

Edit: it appears that one would need a poal account to view submissions by domain name.

Re: That time poal got censored was a false flag.
Would the posts show up on top because of dailycaller and gatewaypundit having agreements with google?possibly promoted by submission's domain name.
Would poal have to pay google to show up on top of search, normally?
I don't know how that guy can claim censorship, and AOU not correct the record.

Re: That time poal got censored was a false flag.
It is possible that they had agreements with google. But it is not necessarily paid. Google is happy to promote certain sources that support its agenda. Poal has not had any significant growth until Voat was shut down. That was its chance to boost its userbase. Its content was increased by about 400% (5 times its original number) after Voat shutdown. However, the quantity of content was more than halved (1.9 times its original number) following AOU's immature management. It seems that poal was limiting its own growth rate. A good number of Goats got kicked off. Like the other user said, poal is a hugbox, not in any form a Free Speech website it has claimed to be. And it is certainly not censored as a platform; however, its userbase is certainly censored by AOUshewhomustbeobeyed wrote: ↑Wed Jun 30, 2021 1:25 amWould the posts show up on top because of dailycaller and gatewaypundit having agreements with google?possibly promoted by submission's domain name.

I think many users over at voat.xyz would find this very interesting.
